In 2003, with funding from the Vice Chancellor for Research Office (Beth Burnside), and from the Arnold Family, we moved in a triple-wide modular classroom on an area leveled and paved with asphalt. This is the first/only classroom for Hastings, and we have used it since for groups with a comfortable size of 25 to 30. The facility includes a rest room, kitchen and serving counters, space for posters, a white board, built-in digital projector for laptop computers, a screen, a land-line phone and a small group seating area for informal, small meetings. It is perfect for retreats, working groups, or classes.
