We do not have a current (2003) geology
map for the area around Hastings, the Upper Camel Valley. Lew Rosenberg
reports that such a map was in preparation in 1998.
A map of the Lower Carmel Valley through
the terraces of Pebble Beach has recently been prepared but is only available
in a digital form(68 Mb). It is: Clark, Joseph C., William R. Dupre, and
Lewis I. Rosenberg. 1997. Geological
